As Van der Werf notes, the end of the melody and the last few words of the first stanza is missing and no following stanzas are given, which the scribe attributes to their absence in the exemplar used ("deficit quia deficiebat in exemplari)." (VWE 195*) His edition completes the melody following the model of Anglès, who used the last four note groups from Phrase 4 to set the final words of stanza 1 as taken from Manuscript C. (VWE 195*)
