Comments:
This melody breaks off because of the excision of an initial on the recto of this folio, ending at the text "tant non mi" partway through the fourth line of the first stanza of the song. There is a crease in the parchment under some of the notes of Phrase 3, which caused the ninth neume of the phrase to be partially obscured but still legible. Both Van der Werf and Cuesta read it as a punctum followed by a plica (FFg), as here.
